Don Lamoreux's Biography

Don Lamoreux is an actor, producer, writer and has retired as a college teacher in Toronto.
Don was Artistic Director of the Crocodile Theatre Company in Montreal. This company subsidized by the Federal Government of Canada produced among other works, the musical "Whatever Happened to Peace and Love?" which Don co-wrote.

Don ‘s latest screenplay “ Save Capt. Jake’s", a comedy, co-written with Joanna Eshelby, is currently being edited. Don is a voting member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, as well as a graduate of the ProSeries course at Screenwriting U.

As an actor, Don has been featured in films, television and theatre in a career that has spanned over fifty years. He is a member of ACTRA, Canadian Actors’ Equity, Union des Artistes and SAG/AFTRA Guild. Don has served two years as Vice-President and twenty years as Councillor for ACTRA Toronto Performers.
